XK150 third and final model of the XK range. The profile of the car is softened and the windshield is now a single curved plane as the rear window FIXED HEAD. This model has enjoyed several years of development since the first XK120 was launched in 1948. Jaguar has added two seats rear for two children or one adult. More than an evolution, the 150 is a modern car that meets the requirements of the U.S. market, but it does not feel like its predecessor because it illustrates is now a grand touring car rather than a pure sports car. Fixed head and convertibles lose their interior trim burr walnut to adopt a blanket dashboard leather.
One of the most important developments of the XK150 was the adoption of Dunlop disc brakes, used for the first time on the Type C 1953 Le Mans winner.

Other improvements included spoked wheels, dual exhaust, washer.
The steering is rack as the 140, the engine is still the 3.4-liter 190 hp and 220 hp base version of special equipment (SE) with type B head machined and painted and two twin SU carburettors for HD6 210 cv.
